We are a small family farm nestled outside the state capitol. Originally our farm was a small dairy farm. With the passing of my father our family sold out of the dairy business. For a little over a year our farm sat idle and it broke my heart to see such a beautiful farm fall. Initially, we started our flock out on the coast of Virginia but Vermont called me home. So, we picked up and moved our family and flock of nearly 30 animals back home to the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont after my husband retired from the Army. Not only are we a family farm but we are a veteran owned and operated farm as both my husband and I served in the Armed Forces. While we both loved service to our country we love farming and raising our precious sheep and goats more.
Today we are focusing on raising registered Finnsheep along with Commercial Katahdin. Our main focus is on raising pasture raised lamb and poultry. We are also delving into the world of fibers and have started sending our raw fleece and pelts to be processed into the most beautiful yarns, roving and tanned skins.
